Loro Parque
Loro Parque, in Tenerife (Canary Islands) has been voted « Best zoo in Europe » by TripAdvisor.
The park is home to the most unique species in the world and hosts a vast array of live shows featuring the best animals: orcas, sea lions, dolphins or parrots. You will be able to observe lots of animals, from felines – jaguars, tigers or lions – to primates, as well as various species of birds, medusas, and the famous penguinarium, where the natural living conditions of Antarctica have been recreated to fulfill the needs of the penguins, used to these extreme temperatures.
You will also see the Aquarium and its many fishes, as well as the big crocodiles and the impressive gorilla who loves observing his audience. This vast theme park, located in Puerto de la Cruz, in the northern part of Tenerife, is definitely worth a visit; you will need a full day to enjoy it without any rush. For this purpose, the park offers a great range of food & drink options, from American restaurants with grilled meats to ice-creams, sweets & snacks carts available all day long.
As Loro Parque is a child-friendly park, it boasts specific kids areas such as Kinderland, for the toddlers to enjoy their own playing zone or have a rest before continuing their journey in this wonderful place.

Le parc de Loro Parque est magnifique. Les jardins sont fabuleux et les animaux ont pas mal de place pour se déplacer. La banquise à manchots est exceptionnelle.
Contrairement à beaucoup de parcs, celui-ci vous autorise à apporter votre nourriture, vous trouverez des tables en bois à différents endroits pour pique niquer donc pensez-y !
The best family plan in Tenerife, kids were very happy and we too. White tiger is beautiful, the aquarium tunnel is wonderful. highly recommanded but not on sunday, there is a lot of people, local peoples says that’s better from monday to friday.
J’ai déjà visité plusieurs parcs des îles canaries, ils sont beaux et variés comme l’oasis parc à fuerteventura, le palmitos park à Gran Canaria et le Jungle Park à tenerife. Le Loro Parque se démarque grâces à ces animations et ses spectacles d’animaux fabuleux ( orque, dauphin, otarie, perroquet ).
La végétation du parc est exceptionnelle, on se croirait dans une forêt tropicale ! Je conseille fortement la visite du parc si vous êtes en vacances à Tenerife !
Un parc zoologique fantastique! L’aquarium est énorme et vraiment sensationnel. Le parc dispose d’un centre scientifique et d’une fondation.
Les spectacles shows sont très beaux avec celui des lions de mer, des oiseaux perroquets, des dauphins et des orques !
Attention de ne pas vous asseoir devant pour le spectacle des orques car ils arrosent !
Pas fan des parcs zoologique car nous préférons voir les animaux en libertés mais je peux signaler qu’il est très bien entretenu, que les animaux sont en parfaites santé. Il y a un centre scientifique où ils expliquent comment ils soignent et nourrissent les animaux.
